Shadow Shot Sunday - West Coast Beach

Today seemed like a good day to go to the beach, and take some shots for SSS.  This beach is 10 minutes from our home.

Huge piece of driftwood, it was really smooth and multi -coloured. The sand at this beach is black
Strappy, beautiful clump of seaweed.

Love this shot of the fence, shows the wire and also shows the kink in the wood. If you look down the beach you can see a shadow of a girl on her horse.

The driftwood leaves a well defined shadow in the briny sand, the seaweed less so. The railing offers us a well defined line to the waves and water, and we would all be happy to follow it to a wonderful beach on thr Pacific!

What terrific shadow shots for the day! I love the shadows you can find on the beaches and it's one of my favorite places. I love the seaweed and the shadow of the fence in particular! Hope you have a great day, Angela!

Great shadows man.
you've got a good eye for pictures and are in a great area and always seem to get out in the sunshine.
No wonder you're always happy.
It always makes me miss home.

Love them Mum!! You do have a great eye for pictures, especially shadow shots, Milz is right!
I love them all , but the driftwood seems to speak to me ... where it's been, how it came to look the way it does, how it came to land on your beach. It's beautiful!

What stunning images! I can almost smell the seasalt - it brings back many happy memories of a childhood spent in a beachside suburb.

Beautiful shadowy beach pictures! How lucky to live so close. I really like the seaweed picture - like heavy lace.
