Sky Watch Friday

Check out the link to see other great shots: http://skyley.blogspot.com

There is a definite Spring feeling in the air, the weather however has been very mixed, not a lot of sunshine. Heavy, heavy rain, and fog. A very unusual weather week.

I found these quotes : "Ah, Hope! What would life be, stripped of thy encouraging smiles, that teach us to look behind the dark clouds of today, for the golden beams that are to gild the morrow"
Susanna Moodie.

"In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer'...
Albert Camus

These pics remind me of the Arizona monsoon season which we re enjoying today...I took a few pics myself that I will post soon....we had a nice soft rain all day and even turned off the air conditioner...quite the treat for the middle of August for us...

I had never heard of the doodlebug bomb. A fanciful name for such a horrible device. It does cast an ominous shadow. Very good Shadow Shot. Have a good week ahead!

A Wild Thing

So much death and destruction from above...I get the willies every time an army helicopter flies over my house, what the poor Londoners must've felt...cool shot!
