Shadow Shot Sunday...

Late afternoon Autumn shadows, Cornwall Park, Auckland. The haze in the first shot is the smoke from the on site BBQ's . The tree in the second shot must be 40 feet high, it towers over the park. The third shot is a Clematis flower, the last of the Summer blooms.

Join the rest of us Shadow Chasers over  at Hey Harriet and sharet your Shadow Shots.

What a cool tree...the sun finally came out late in the afternoon, but trust me, you didn't want to go out in it...brrrrr...lots of hot tea!!!

Nice one Mum! I love the smokey one the best!!

Hey Harriet

Must be a popular day for BBQs judging by all that 'fog' there! If only I could smell the fog! I love the smell of BBQs! That flower is delightful! I hope you have a wonderful week ahead :)

It always amazes me that the human eye can see more than a camera when it comes to staring up at tall trees!

SOME SAY THAT SHADOWS

Some say that shadows are fragments of light,
Others that they are but pieces of night,
Fleeing like demons when dawn becomes day,
Fearing the radiance coming their way.
Is one notion wrong and one notion right?
Just what are shadows if they are not light?

Well, I am awaiting the warm days here in New England to fire up our charcoal BBQ on the patio - that is smog we can all enjoy! The shadows of large trees are complemented by the delicate shadows of the flower. Lovely autumnal NZ shadows!
