Shadow Shot Sunday...

Taken at Bland Bay a few weeks ago, I found this old abandoned shepherds hut at the end of the bay where the farmland came down to the sea.  Great shadows to be found..

Head on over to Hey Harriet and join in with Tracy and the rest of  us "Shadow Chasers" from all over the world.

Have a great weekend everyone...

The shepherd's hut looks like its useful light is through. Yet, this simple building shows its simple mission when it was in use - mere protection from the elements. Next to the sea, the weather changed quickly, and safe haven was found. The simple building has no pretensions...a wonderful post!

What an interesting find! And you did get some great shadows there.

I like the shadows in sepia tones.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a fun week chasing shadows.

A Wild Thing

What a beautiful view from the window of this old relic, makes you wonder what makes someone leave such an idealistic local...what a storm that must've been you had, yes, crazy weather indeed. Another thunderstorm is baring down on us, but it's been the stifling heat wave that just doesn't seem to quit. It's like walking into an oven, with humidity so high you can barely breath.

I finally have a day off this Sunday, so yard work it'll be ALL DAY...yayyyy!!! I hope your beach and bird populations recover soon...have a great day!

A great find! Old buildings are great photographic subjects, and also, as you demonstrate, great photographic frames!

Stunning location! Looks like a great spot for a house (with lots of glass).
