I love your Shadow Shots!! The Botannical gardens must have been really nice. You captured some really great items. I especially like the rocks. very interesting!! Thanks so much for sharing them!!!
Lovely photos! I also liked your previous post (faces) too. What better place to be on a glorious Autumn day but outside with nature.
I love the palm fronds on the rock-well if they are palm fronds-whatever they are!
Great shadow shots! I really like the pond one, thanks for stopping by at my blog. Have a fab week ;-) Jo
The first one, is that a rock sculpture? I love the frond shadows cast on the rock outcropping below.

Have a great week.
Gardens are great places for shadows--and you found some yummy ones!
WONDERFUL NONSENSE
A shadow’s a wonderful thing;
O listen! Can you hear it sing?
It tells of a time
Before there was crime—
Trust that and you’ll trust anything!

I, also, love the leaf shadows on the rock. I have yet to get a photo of that subject which I really like, but I keep trying!

Oh, I can tell already that Botanical Garden must be a treasure-trove of shadow shots, Angela. Gorgeous! I love the first photo, with shadows AND a reflection.

Terrific ShadowShots! Did you pose the rocks or where they found that way? Our daughter and SIL found a beach in B.C. that had lots of stacked stones...but why? Do you know if there is a meaning to them?? Sorry, too many questions! Have a good week.
Hi Angela! Love that picture of the rocks standing above the water...makes for a fun shadow shot perspective! Hope you have a lovely week coming up!

Great shots, I especially love the first one. Enjoy your week.

I'm really loving the frond shadows on the rock. when I visited Hawaii many years ago it was a popular thing to stack rocks such as the first photo - they were found at river mouths, or deltas, and very zen-like. I love seeing them, and you've captured these beautifully! happy SSS.
Wow 16 comments.
When you come over here you should come down to Moab with us.
You'll LOVE all the shadows you could capture down here.
Gardens are so pretty to roam around in. :)
Love the fern shadow on the rocks Mum. In the right side of the photo the shadow is so perfect it looks like the fern has been draped over the rock. Awesome!
