Shadow Shot Sunday..

My shadow shots this week were taken while on holiday in Salt Lake City. My daughter, Evette, took me on a photowalk to the Great Salt Lake. The particular place that we went to is a favourite place for photographers to use, it is what I would call "Rural Grunge" with an old rusted railway carriage that has been used as a canvas for graffiti artists. I captured these shadows while there..

Go over to Tracy at Hey Harriet to see other shadow chasers from around the world.....

Those are terrific captures and definitely not the shadows one sees every day! It does sound as though you and your family had some wonderful time together! That's the best of all! Enjoy your day!!

Nice shadow shots! And ditto to what Sylvia said;-)

Love, love, love that middle shot.
I feel the same way.
I feel that this is NZ time to win this year in the world cup you know.
Dru stayed up last night and watched the game. I was away for the night.
He said the Allblacks were on fire.
I'm pumped for this.

Something is stopping me seeing the 2nd pic but I'm sure I would love it. (Love grunge, grafitti & shadows). Thanks for dropping by.

Great shots. I would love to see that as it looks just my kind of thing! I like your 'rural grunge' description-very fitting.

Those pictures inside of it are wonderful Angela - love it!!

The railway car offers no utility today as a form of carriage. Its gift is to the photographer, instead, The rotted wood is still a linear treat, the shadows are lined u well. Much of the roof is now gone, allowing the Beehive State sun to shine inside. This is an amazing find, the photo chasers making that beeline to the dry Utah lands!

what cool shadow shots. the carriage, despite it's run down state, make for a very cool backdrop.

LV

A wonderful railway filled with shadows. Very well done.
