Weeds or Wildflowers.....

The weather has been 'crappy' over the past four days, and it is more like Winter than Summer.

I have been wanting to learn about adding textures to photos for quite some time and have spent the last few days learning how it all works. Thanks to my 'hubby,' who uses photoshop at work everyday, he has been very patient and I think that I am getting the hang of it. Still have a long way to go with learning all the other things that Photoshop has to offer. But little steps are the best way to go....

This is one of the images that I took a few days ago, before and after shots. The texture is part of the range over at  Kim Klassen Textures

What is a weed? A plant whose virtues have not yet been discovered - Ralph Waldo Emerson

It may be a weed, but it is a beautiful photo. You did a great job on the texture.

Sylvia K

It is indeed quite lovely for a weed and what great captures for the day! Love the quote! Perfect! Hope your new year is off to a great start!!

Anything that blooms is a flower to me!! Beautiful!

Kay L. Davies

I agree with Dorothy. And I also agree with Ralph Waldo Emerson. Always nice to have someone like him agree with me, too. LOL
Lucky you, having a husband who can help you with learning Photoshop! Mine would happily teach me about spreadsheets, if I could ever find a use for such things, which I hope I never do.
All the best with Photoshop, and in the new year.

The Summer Kitchen Girls

I love her textures....haven't played with them yet, but I do enjoy seeing how you did this picture :) Someday....perhaps someday!

Little Nan

It doesn't matter, it's still a beautiful shot and reminds me of Autumn!
Thankyou so much for your lovely comments when visiting my little blog, I really appreciate them! And I hope you and your family have a wonderful and happy year with lots of new memories! Love Kelly x

Beautiful, so soft looking! I still have to get into that stuff - some day! Good for you for getting on with it! :-)
